General Style and Presentation

File Type: Submit your manuscript as a Microsoft Word (.docx) file or a PDF.

Length: Recommended maximum of 15 pages (not including references and appendices).

Font & Spacing: Use Times New Roman, 11–12 pt font, single-spaced, with 1-inch margins.

Page Size: Standard US Letter (8.5” x 11”) or A4.

You may use up to four levels of headings for clarity. A suggested style:

  • Title: Bold, 16–18 pt

  • Heading 1: Bold, 14 pt

  • Heading 2: Bold, 12 pt

  • Heading 3: Italic, 12 pt

  • Heading 4: Underlined, 11 pt

Title Length: Keep article titles under 100 characters (including spaces).

Abstract: No more than 250 words, summarizing the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions.

Placement: Place figures, tables, and charts within the text where relevant, rather than at the end.

File Formats: Figures and charts should be in PNG or JPEG format.

Labeling: Label figures as "Figure 1," "Figure 2," etc., and provide descriptive captions directly below.

Multi-panel Figures: Combine into a single image file, labeling each panel (e.g., a, b, c).

Tables: Create tables directly in Word (not as images) for Word Submissions and place titles above each table. If a PDF submission, no need to change the format.

Equations: Use Word’s Insert Equation tool, not images, for mathematical expressions.

You should use a recognized discipline-specific citation style and include all references at the end of the manuscript. Where possible, provide DOIs or URLs for each source. Leave one line of space between each reference entry.

Do not include author names or affiliations in the manuscript text; these will be added separately during submission. If applicable, include proof of IRB approval or exemption for studies involving human subjects. The work must be original and not under review elsewhere. PLAGIARISM WILL RESULT IN REMOVAL FROM CONSIDERATION.

Appendices, additional data, survey instruments, or multimedia files can be uploaded as supplementary files.

Large data sets should be hosted in a public repository, with links provided in the manuscript.

Keep writing clear, concise, and free of unnecessary formatting. Use bullet or numbered lists sparingly. Ensure all images, text, and figures are in black-and-white or grayscale unless color is essential for understanding.
